The Electoral College exists to compensate for an excessive scarcity of proper philosophers, scientists, scientific philosophers (metathinkers), and philosophical scientists (metaphysicists).
It is an almost foreboding example of why there needs to be decent saturation of philosophical consideration involved generally just about anything and everything in society.
Philosophy is the backbone of how deliberation of all things in life is moderated.
