Humans are mortals, even bicentennials are mortals.
None live forever as if to see themselves become some villain unless personal goals are set against them.
So while alive, we all have our one go during which we could do the best and worst after which we are left in oblivion in the following eternity. Forgotten no matter what, as we pass and other people later forget us eventually.
Not to mention that even if we go multiplanetary, the sun can still take us all conveniently or a nebular freeze could do that errand as well.
So while alive, know that you won’t be able to have any thoughts after your free trial of life (takes money and medical procedures to either naturally or artificially ask one’s one human body for longevity). It’s said that at the dusk of life, people are just having thoughts of acceptance and contentment next to any regrets that they may have had.
Anything? Finish what you started or end what you never accepted.
The gates are closing, either build your empire, syndicate, and wreak havoc – or your own biology will close your mind to nothing.
No one has a say in this, so it’s a race of living that speeds up or slows down depending on how you see it. But however much you do within every bit of time is what you claim to be – it’s your legacy that your body leaves the world with. As for your body, that depends on how skilled the mortician is when it comes to biopreservation.
