3 Worlds, 1 Experience

Marketing, Reality, and Extra Truth

Marketing: The art of making something seem attractive enough to persuade people to affirm to something.

Reality: What the case for the general situation in focus really is.

Extra Truth: It doesn’t need to exist, it’s quite unnecessary, but external factors domino into play and it’s also true in the same environment.

Comedian Jo Koy isn’t entirely exaggerating on things when he says that he can’t help out with academic math. Everyone undergoes periodic amnesia when things in faint concern just don’t have vital applications to every specific circumstance of their individual lives.

Such is even more the case when one was not very adept with academia, and clearly found success in standup comedy as opposed to something that proved to be an unsuitable combination.

I remember my junior year history teacher. I remember his name. I am tempted to put him in the spotlight but I do understand the concept of lenience and mercy. So I suppose that he is a lucky man to remain unnamed as of now.

He’d say that we need to remember things and act in accordance with what behavior conventions qualify for expectations in the real world.

I do remember things, but did I retain information well out of worry or out of legacy?

Out of worry and sometimes out of engaged interest, I have retained some things from the material he had given students like me at the time.

Out of legacy, I remember him, his ways, things he said, how he treated us, and what others said about him and remember him as.

I should remain convert about that to prevent an uncalled for French disaster.

Speaking of “French”, I remember a name, “Cornwallis”. Now I will say the name of my eight grade American History teacher. Long Hua. I’m sure that that’s him.

Everyone has the Lockean rights, yet I mentioned his name. Because I’m just so petty about the memories. Comfortable retaliation.

He didn’t so much in the wrong, but I felt some cold, haughty edges around him. So, there – I said his name.

Okay, back to college. But don’t you start thinking that I only remember such names and memories – I remember all of it. You know who you are and I still remember and know you, even if you can’t remember me. (And you’d say that there’s no such thing as not being able to remember, yet you yourself can’t. Eat your words today. I don’t need to eat mine.)

Those pictures that you see on the internet and in textbooks that show a person posing next to text on a background… Isn’t there an experiment performed by a Russian who wanted to make a dog salivate to sound of a bell ringing? So now we associate something arbitrary with a school’s biased self-display of being presentable. Because why would a school want to repel students from wanting attend at that location?

Well that’s a small example of marketing.

How about Reality? Well, that’s my junior year history teacher.

Extra Truth? It’s not even ideal to say here, and college had such experiences. Ironic isn’t it?

I will mention some hints: The world can be a dark, twisted, and apathetic place. People will unload darkness and toxins to anonymous accounts to relieve themselves of inner demons. Patrols sometimes relay throughout the halls. And traffic lights may not always work in an ideal manner but people have to manage and consider that dealing with it will be proper approach – that’s the impression of both lives in either non-elections or large entities.

It’s any place in any state in the U.S., need I say more?
